Job Description

The Sourcing Specialist will support the gReach Program, a 12-month paid upskilling initiative for industry professionals with disabilities. This role involves utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms to source candidates for technical and non-technical roles within the program. Responsibilities include executing sourcing strategies, screening resumes and profiles, conducting initial phone screenings, and building relationships with potential candidates. The goal is to identify and engage talent from underrepresented groups, fostering a positive candidate experience and contributing to Google's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The program provides on-the-job training and diverse projects to help participants grow professionally.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
1 year recruiting or HR experience
Fluency in English and Japanese
Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter
Excellent organizational and communication skills

Good to have:

Project management skills
Independent thinking and initiative
Passion for identifying and engaging talent

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
1 year experience in recruiting or related HR field.
Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently in order to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

Proficiency in using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
Ability to take initiative and be an independent thinker.
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to drive and implement ideas in a challenging environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Passion for identifying and engaging talent.

The gReach Program is a 12 months paid upskilling program for industry professionals with disabilities where participants will receive on-the-job-training and work on a range of projects. The goal of the gReach program is to provide participants from underrepresented groups with the opportunity to grow their career as professionals.

Responsibilities

Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter and other online platforms (e.g., job boards, social media, etc.) to source potential candidates for a variety of technical and non-technical roles.
Execute effective sourcing strategies to build a strong of qualified candidates.
Screen resumes and profiles to assess candidate qualifications and suitability for open positions.
Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidate interest and gather preliminary information.
Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates, fostering a positive candidate experience.
