Job Description

The Strategic Partnerships Development Manager will grow Google's business with publishers using AdSense, AdMob, Ad Manager, and other Google products. Responsibilities include identifying and engaging publishers across various formats and industries, building relationships with C-level executives, advising on business growth strategies, leveraging Google's solutions, and analyzing market trends to develop acquisition strategies. The role requires cross-functional collaboration within Google to achieve shared goals and deliver results. The focus is on the local market in Taiwan, requiring fluent Mandarin and English communication.
Must have:
  • 1+ years in business development or related field
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
  • Experience with online advertising solutions
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with publishers
Good to have:
  • Experience in advertising, ad sales, publishing
  • Knowledge of gaming/apps ecosystem and globalization trends
  • Experience with AdSense, AdMob, Ad Manager

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in advertising, ads business generation, publishing, online services or ad sales.
  • Knowledge of the gaming/apps ecosystem, including globalization trends, online advertising, and business generation strategies.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and develop acquisition strategies.
  • Ability to separately identify and pursue opportunities.
  • Ability to engage and negotiate with individual publishers and organizations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with individual publishers and organizations.

The Online Partnerships Group (OPG) uses our portfolio of product solutions, including AdSense and Google Marketing Platform tools, to help online publishers grow their businesses. You'll provide creative, industry-leading online advertising solutions for publishers and developers and identify new opportunities. Some of the largest publishers on the web rely on our products and we're always trying to exceed their expectations and strengthen our long-term partner relationships. We help grow Google's business with the largest online publishers and provide account management for users of AdSense, Google Ad Manager and more.

In this role, you will be responsible for growing Google's business with publishers large and small in web, apps and video in the local market with solutions including AdSense, AdMob, Ad Manager and many other Google products including Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.

We build and distribute products through partnerships across a multitude of product areas, including Ads, Search & Assistant, Geo, Platforms & Ecosystems, Devices & Services, Health, Retail, Payments, Next Billion Users, and more. We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage with publishers across various formats (display, video, search) and industries (gaming, commerce, entertainment, SaaS).
  • Engage with C-level publishers/developers, build relationships, and provide advice to drive their business growth.
  • Help publishing and developer partners leverage Google's business generation solutions to achieve their full potential. Promote industry insights and strategies to maximize their business.
  • Analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop acquisition strategies and industry plans to drive continued growth for Google Sellside.
  • Work cross-functionally within Google Sellside and across the wider Google organization to achieve shared goals and deliver results.
