Sustainability Senior Associate

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Associate, you'll work as one of our community of problem solvers, in one of our strategically important growth areas. Your impact will be felt by:

• Participation in various Sustainability Assurance and Sustainability related consulting projects

• Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above

• Train and lead staff

• Establish effective working relationships directly with clients

• Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen

• Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues

• Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients 

• Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

Essential skills & experience:

• Completed University degree in business, technical or scientific field (Finance, Economics, Environmental Sciences and Policy, Sustainable development, Environmental science)

• Understanding of sustainability regulation and reporting standards

• Assurance experience, including evaluating controls over financial and non-financial processes

• Understanding of some key non-financial assurance reporting and assurance standards and frameworks e.g. ISAE 3000, ISAE 3410

• Strong project management skills and a demonstrable experience of working on multiple engagements and managing your time effectively

• A key focus on delivering high quality work to tight deadlines

• The ability to apply independent judgment during engagements and to support conclusions reached by management.

• The ability to coach junior team members.

• Exceptional client relationship and communication skills

• A willingness to learn new skills and help develop and innovate new client propositions

• Fluency in English (both oral and written)

• Prior consulting experience is highly desirable, but not a prerequisite
