Job Description

The Account Strategist, Mid Market Sales role at Google Customer Solutions focuses on driving growth for businesses in the Czech and Slovak Republics. Responsibilities include delivering against quarterly business goals, managing a portfolio of medium and large businesses, pitching and consulting with customers on annual digital marketing strategies, driving customer growth through outstanding sales experiences, and performing stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in Czech/Slovak and English, experience in digital advertising campaigns, and a proven ability to achieve sales quotas. This role requires a deep understanding of online marketing strategy and tactics, building strong client relationships, and effectively utilizing storytelling to engage clients.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years sales/marketing experience
  • Fluent in Czech/Slovak and English
  • Achieve sales quotas
  • Manage client portfolios
  • Digital advertising campaign experience
Good to have:
  • Performance marketing expertise
  • Experience with large/medium businesses
  • Strong presentation & storytelling skills
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategies

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Sales, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in sales, business development, advertising, online media environment, or a marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in Czech or Slovak and English fluently to support client relationships and drive sales in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Experience assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection managing and engaged promotions.
  • Knowledge of sales, online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Czech Republic and Slovakia.
  • Ability to consistently achieve sales quotas to drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against quarterly business generations and product growth goals.
  • Own a portfolio of medium and large size businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Perform stakeholder management, build relationships with the end customer or agencies.
