Summary

Supervise a Finance Operations team (approx. 7 employees) and oversee daily activities for Accounts Payable, Receivable, Intercompany Transitions, and Travel & Entertainment expenses. Manage payment processes (cash application), debt/cash collection (aging reports, resolving bad debts), and support month-end closing and annual financial statement preparation. Collaborate with GL team on internal/external audits, provide ad-hoc analyses and reports, and drive process improvement and standardization, adhering to Publicis Groupe policies. Requires strong leadership, IFRS/GAAP knowledge, analytical and communication skills, and experience in managing a secure internal control environment.

Job Description

  • Supervise the Finance Operations team. (~7 Emp)
  • Oversee the daily activities for Account Payables, Account Receivables, Intercompany Transitions and Travel & Entertainment expenses.
  • Organizing and monitoring the payment processes (cash application), debt/cash collection (running aging reports and resolving bad debts with the finance controllers and agency finance).
  • Supporting the finance teams on the month-end closing procedures and preparation of the annual statutory financial statements.
  • Supporting internal and external audit requirements in the close cooperation with the GL team members
  • Provide ad hoc analyses & reports as required.
  • Driving process improvement and standardization of the processes.
  • Implementing and adhering to Publicis Groupe practices, policies, and procedures that support efficiencies.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • Up to 5 years of experience in a similar or related position within a multinational company.
  • Ability to manage and lead teams.
  • Experienced in IFRS, Local GAAP and Accounting principles and policies
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Experience in managing a secure and transparent internal control environment.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Excellent Excel skills
