Job Description

As an AI Sales Specialist at Google Cloud, you'll drive AI business growth by building and expanding customer relationships. You'll need strong selling skills to connect with Cloud Field Sales Representatives (FSRs), Customer Engineers (CEs), and customers. Responsibilities include developing executive relationships, identifying AI use cases, executing account plans, collaborating with Google Account and technical teams, and executing Go-to-Market strategies. You'll work across various industries, focusing on both productivity use cases and helping customers build new AI-powered products. This role requires expertise in selling the AI technology stack and a deep understanding of Google Cloud AI offerings. You will be responsible for forecasting, reporting business performance, and working with product teams to embed AI technology into customer products.
Must have:
  • 10+ years IT solution sales experience

  • Experience working with product teams

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience selling IT business solutions and executing a territory sales strategy.
  • Experience partnering with technical staff to build business cases and implementation plans.
  • Experience identifying and driving use cases to solve customer issues.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with and managing partners in complex implementation projects including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
  • Experience working with product teams with an understanding of how to embed our technology into their product set.
  • Experience in selling the AI technology stack.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud and Google Cloud AI offerings.
  • Ability to drive business growth across a broad set of industry-specific AI/ML use cases.
  • Ability to connect AI/ML with business value and engage executive stakeholders as an advisor and thought leader.


About the job

As an AI Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for growing our AI business by building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers. You will possess the necessary selling skills to effectively build relationships with both Cloud Field Sales Representatives (FSRs), Customer Engineers (CEs) as well as new and existing customers. You will develop relationships with external customer stakeholders, identifying innovative ways to multiply your impact and the impact of the team as a whole. You will partner with internal GCP sales teams to grow their AI businesses and drive the overall value for Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Business-cycles will include a combination of productivity use cases, as well as working with product teams to help our customers build new products leveraging our Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Responsibilities

  • Own the number, calibrate the business against the objectives and key results. Forecast and report the state of the business for your territory.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with customers as the AI Subject Matter Expert, influence long-term direction for your new and existing customers as well as the Google Cloud Field Sales Representatives (FSRs) and Customer Engineers (CEs).
  • Assist customers in identifying AI use cases suitable for Google Cloud AI products and solutions. Articulate key solution differentiators and the measurable business impact.
  • Develop and execute account plans, including an enterprise plan across key verticals.
  • Work with Google Account and technical teams to develop and drive pipelines, and provide expertise. Execute Go-To-Market business plays and related efforts with the Cloud Teams and GCP Partners.
