Job Summary

Job Description

As an Account Executive, you will demonstrate to clients how Google Cloud solutions boost productivity, mobility, and collaboration. You'll nurture client relationships, collaborate cross-functionally to develop solutions, and provide top-tier support. Responsibilities include meeting clients, offering innovative solutions, understanding sales, technology, and strategy, communicating the value of Google Cloud to customers and partners, and collaborating daily to enhance products and customer experience. You will manage opportunities throughout their lifecycle, working with cross-functional teams and serving as the primary customer contact. You'll drive business development, forecasting, and goal achievement, guiding customers through the entire sales cycle and collaborating with Customer Engineers and partners to expand opportunities with SMBs. You will also implement regional strategies to support growth objectives.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years sales, client relations, or account management experience
  • New business acquisition experience in Cloud/SaaS/PaaS/IaaS
  • Fluent Japanese and English communication
  • Manage sales cycle, work with cross-functional teams
Good to have:
  • Experience transitioning businesses from on-premise to cloud
  • Technical/sales background in Cloud, Tech, CS, or IS
  • Experience with Google Cloud products (Workspace, GCP)
  • CRM system experience (Salesforce)
  • Channel partner collaboration experience

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in one or more of the following: sales, client relationship, or account management.
  • Experience in new business acquisition, including in the Cloud, SaaS, Paas, or IaaS industry.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in Japanese and English with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience promoting solutions to help businesses transition from on-premise to the cloud.
  • Experience in technical or sales in Cloud, Technology, Computer Science or Information Systems.
  • Experience in technology and cloud computing market, and a passion for Google Cloud products (e.g., Google Workspace, Google Cloud Platform, etc.).
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, etc.).
  • Experience collaborating/co-promoting with channel partners in the market.

You will collaborate with many customers and partners everyday, and have ideas to improve our product or enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage opportunities through the entire cycle, working with cross-functional teams as necessary, and serve as the primary customer contact for all adoption-related activities.
  • Deliver assigned goals while prioritizing an outstanding customer experience to customers and prospects.
  • Drive business development, forecast, and achieve goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
  • Work with Customer Engineers and trusted Google Cloud Partners as a critical member of the Sales team to grow opportunities with small and medium businesses.
  • Engage and implement regional strategy to support the growth goals.
