Job Description

The Brand Demand Manager drives the brand and demand Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) within a manufacturing plant, region, and supply chain. This role involves consolidating and analyzing global forecasts, liaising with regional demand managers and teams to ensure accuracy. The manager leads Brand S&OP meetings, creates scenarios, provides guidelines for inventory management, and proposes forecast profiles during product launches. Additionally, the role involves monitoring forecasting system data accuracy and leading reviews of RSL. Responsibilities include consolidating and analyzing forecasts, driving S&OP meetings, and managing inventory policies.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 2+ years of supply chain experience in manufacturing
  • Ability to make decisions and synthesize information
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment
  • Customer and business oriented
  • Experience with planning and S&OP
  • Proficiency in standard IS software (Excel, SAP)

Job Details

Position Summary & Responsibilities:

Drives the brand and demand Sales and Operations Planning (S & OP) as a coordinator of a manufacturing plant, region and supply chain, in order to reach the economical customer service.

  • Consolidates, analyzes and challenges global forecasts for his product brands (incl. LCM and OEM), liaises with regional demand managers, LCM and OEM teams in order to reach the expected accuracy and quality 
  • Drives and prepares Brand S&OP meetings, builds scenarios considering supply, customer needs, risks and opportunities and Brand extension 
  • Provides S&OP guidelines to Inventory Manager on inventory policies, logistics, shelf life and allocations in order to increase customer OTIF, lower distribution costs and scrap risks, drives allocations and monitors promotion actions 
  • Proposes forecast profiles during launch stage, considering scrap risks and sales forecasts, integrating ComOps and marketing business plan into operational forecasts, country per country
  • Watches for APO-DPM forecasting system data accuracy and drives its cleansing
  • Leads RSL reviews and maintains the RSL promised by DC to subsidiary in the information systems

Education, Skills, & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Ability to make decisions - Ability to synthetize information
  • Ability to work in cross-functional environment
  • Customer / Business oriented
  • Planning and S&OP
  • Good level with standard IS software (Excel, SAP…)
  • Very good relationship skills, agility to adapt and understand complex matters rapidly
