Job Description

The Business Development Representative will prospect and reach out to new customers, building pipeline and revenue. Responsibilities include identifying qualified sales meetings through prospecting via phone and email, partnering with account executives to strategize and penetrate named accounts, conducting high-level conversations with executives, working with Sales and Marketing on projects, meeting quotas, and leveraging sales enablement tools. The role requires 100+ calls/activities daily. The candidate should be based in Amsterdam and fluent in German and English.
Must have:
  • 2+ years of prior inbound/outbound sale development experience
  • Strong experience in outbound prospecting
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Exceptional listening skills combined with the ability to synthesize information
  • Strong organization and time management
  • Located in the Netherlands
  • Fluent in German and English
Good to have:
  • Prior experience in B2B technology or CMS sales is a plus
  • Prior experience with Salesforce.com and other sales enablement tools a plus
  • Highly motivated and self-driven - you like to win!
  • Up-to-date knowledge of our product and its value to customers
  • Collaborates well with co-workers and other departments

What Are We Looking For?

We are seeking a highly motivated EMEA Business Development Representative to join our growing marketing team in EMEA. In this role, you will help to support our teams by creatively prospecting and proactively reaching out to new customers. You will be vital in building pipeline and revenue for the company. You will be selling predominately to decision-makers in IT and Marketing and must be known to get creative in your messaging.   • Grow the Contentstack customer list by identifying qualified sales meetings through prospecting via phone and email - phone is our primary outreach method
  • Partner with our account executives to strategize and penetrate named accounts (up to 150)
  • Conduct high-level conversations and build relationships with senior and mid-level executives in assigned accounts and territories
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing on projects, events and campaigns to help drive revenue growth
  • Meet and exceed monthly quotas (qualified meetings to pipeline) and daily KPI’s of 100+ calls/activities
  • Leverage Salesforce.com and additional sales enablement tools to be more productive (Gong, LinkedIn Navigator, etc.)

Please note: This role is located in the Amsterdam area. You must have a dedicated home office with high-speed internet connectivity. We are building up an office hub in Amsterdam and you could be an important part of it by joining the office 1-3 days a week. Base salary for this role is between €45,000 and €51,000 plus commission. The contract will be a one year contract that can convert to an indefinite contract after evaluation.
