Job Description

Hololight seeks a C/C++ Software Developer to enhance their Hololight Stream SDK. Responsibilities include evaluating and improving XR streaming technology performance, designing and implementing new features, improving code architecture and design, evaluating and implementing modern technologies, and providing technical guidance to junior team members. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of C/C++ software development experience, strong profiling tool experience (like Tracy), expertise in CMake, clean code design, and OOP. Cross-platform development (Windows, Android, iOS), WebRTC knowledge, video codec SDK experience, and computer graphics principles knowledge are beneficial.

Must have:

5+ years C/C++ experience

Expert in CMake and clean code design
OOP expertise
Fluent English

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As our team is continuously growing, we are looking for a C/C++ developer on-site in Ismaning with a strong background in large-scale software development to extend and improve our Hololight Stream SDK.

YOUR MISSION

Evaluate and enhance the performance of our XR streaming technology
Design and implement improvements and new functionality to the product
Improve the code architecture and design, encouraging coding standards and clean coding
Evaluation and implementation of modern technologies for Hololight Stream
Provide technical guidance to junior members of the team

YOUR PROFILE

Fluent in English, both written and verbal
Willingness to work full-time on site in Ismaning
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or similar
5+ years of professional experience in C/C++ software development
Strong background working with profiling tools such as Tracy
Experience with the CMake build system
Expert in clean code design and OOP concepts

Beneficial:

Proven experience in cross-platform development (Windows, Android, iOS)
Knowledge of video streaming technologies such as WebRTC
Experience with video codec SDKs
Knowledge of principles of computer graphics
