Position Overview:

  

Zones is looking for a PreSales Client Solutions Architect to join our team. This is a group that is dedicated to supporting the largest and strategic customers of Zones. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in initiating, leading, and shaping large Product/Software and Services opportunities working with the wider practice and solution teams.  This role is responsible for proactive gross margin growth, client retention, acquisition, and satisfaction along with achieving operating/margin targets and continuous improvement.  This is a remote position with up to 50% travel requirements. 
"This role requires travel to meet client's / partners at short notice (within 1-2 days). Though we expect travel to be around 50%, candidates should not have recurring travel constraints in order to meet these expectations for travel at short notice"
 
What you’ll do as Client Solutions Architect:

Responsibilities: 
 
  • Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with the sales team to identify and understand Zones' services opportunities in the assigned Accounts. Provide expertise and insights to support large scale, technologically complex services opportunities.
  • Growth and Pursuit: Will be responsible for growth of Accounts by proactively developing and presenting creative solutions and services aligning to customer priorities and Zones and our partner offerings. Will be measured on opening leads and progressing them to opportunities and wins working with the Account teams.
  • Architectural Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural plans that align with Zones' business goals and objectives. This includes focusing on Digital Workplace, DataCenter, Cloud, Network, and Security architectures.
  • Solution Ownership: Ownership of end-to-end solutions that incorporate digital workplace technologies, data center infrastructure, cloud services, network systems, and security measures. Ensure that these solutions meet the specific needs and requirements of Zones' clients.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to internal teams and external clients. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform decision-making and solution design.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and clients, to ensure the successful implementation of architectural solutions. Communicate effectively to address concerns, answer queries, and provide ongoing support.
 What you will bring to the team: 
 
  • 12+ years of professional experience in information technology pre-sales or solution architecture with leading Technology Consulting firms 
  • Experience should include a pursuit and solution mindset that span Professional Services and Managed Services on multi-million-dollar deals.   
  • Knowledge of vertical industry trends across Retail, Healthcare, Utility and Technology.  
  • Ability to articulate the solution in a compelling manner in written responses, solution presentations, and when necessary, presenting the solution in an oral presentation to the client 
  • Deep understanding of cost and price benchmarks for products and services 
  • Ability to price proposals competitively thru global delivery. coupled with a thorough understanding of cost-to-win and price-to-win benchmarks. 
  • Strong knowledge of the product vendors and services providers in the IT space as well as strong knowledge of the competitive landscape. 
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills. 
  • Experience working in a globally distributed team
