The Country Manager - Italy at LeoVegas Group will lead Italian operations, driving growth and ensuring compliance. Responsibilities include managing P&L, developing marketing strategies (digital, TV, PR, social media, affiliates, adhering to Decreto Dignità), ensuring ADM regulatory compliance, building and managing a local team, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, conducting market research, and adapting global strategies to the Italian market. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of iGaming leadership experience in regulated European markets, a proven track record of achieving revenue targets, and expertise in Italian gaming regulations.
Must have:
  • 5+ years iGaming leadership

ABOUT THE ROLE

 

Join our dynamic team as the Country Manager - Italy, where you will lead our operations, driving growth and ensuring compliance in this critical market. With a deep understanding of the Italian gaming industry, you will shape market-specific strategies and collaborate across teams to elevate our brand while adhering to Italy’s robust regulatory environment.

 

 

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

 

        Market Leadership: Take ownership of the Italian market’s P&L, ensuring alignment with revenue goals and operational budgets.

        Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, TV, PR, social media, and affiliate networks, while ensuring adherence to the Decreto Dignità restrictions.

        Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with ADM regulations, including reporting, responsible gaming standards, and anti-money laundering (AML) requirements.

        Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing local team, fostering collaboration and accountability.

        Stakeholder Management: Partner with internal teams (product, legal, and customer service) and external stakeholders (regulators, agencies) to drive impactful initiatives.

        Market Research: Continuously analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities and threats.

        Localization: Adapt global strategies to meet the unique preferences and regulatory needs of the Italian market.

 

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

 

        5+ years of experience in a leadership role within the iGaming industry, with exposure to regulated European markets.

        Proven track record of managing P&L and achieving revenue targets.

        Expertise in the Italian gaming sector, including regulatory frameworks (e.g., ADM, Decreto Dignità).

        Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive actionable insights.

        Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities, with the capacity to lead cross-functional teams.

 

NICE TO HAVES

        Previous experience working in ADM-regulated environments.

        Familiarity with digital marketing tools, affiliate management platforms, and reporting systems.

        Advanced proficiency in GA4, Tableau, or other data analytics platforms.

        Fluent in Italian and English.
