As a Country Process Owner, People Experience, you'll design and optimize Indonesia-specific HR processes to improve efficiency and reduce risks. You'll ensure local compliance, design operationally compliant processes, and optimize existing processes for scalability. Responsibilities include program managing strategic HR initiatives, overseeing documentation, data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment. You will work with a team to design process and program improvements, plan service changes, coordinate vendors, and maintain resource documentation including process mapping and training materials. The role requires fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field
  • 7+ years in client-facing HR/People process support
  • 5+ years experience with operational initiatives
  • Local legal and regulatory requirements knowledge
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
Good to have:
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification
  • Experience with HR digitalization and data-driven decision making
  • Experience with large-scale project management
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in a customer or client-facing role supporting HR/People processes.
  • 5 years of experience with operational initiatives.
  • Experience in local legal and regulatory requirements for local HR practices and standards.
  • Ability to communicate in English and local language (Bahasa Indonesia) fluently to support client management in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in Lean/Six Sigma.
  • Experience in human resources, people programs, or other large-scale people related roles.
  • Experience with Digital Transformation/HR Digitalization.
  • Experience with a data driven approach to decision making – data analysis, advanced proficiency with Google sheets and Apps Script.
  • Experience with leading multiple priority projects in parallel, and program managing large-scale complex projects.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas.

As a Country Process Owner, you will serve as a process designer for our hire-to-retire portfolio of activities and projects. You will be responsible for designing process and program improvements to address local business needs, design and plan the rollout of service changes, coordinate local vendors and work to develop and maintain resource documentation, including process mapping, training materials, and knowledge management.

In this role you are willing to take thoughtful risks, iterate quickly, and are ready to work side-by-side with an amazing team of Googlers driving alignment across different functions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize country specific processes to address business needs, improve efficiency, and reduce known risks.
  • Be responsible for executing the critical Human Resources (HR) requirements in the country, and ensure local compliance.
  • Design and execute operationally compliant processes that mitigates HR Compliance risks. 
  • Optimize existing processes to enable operational efficiency and scalability that delivers extraordinary experiences for Googlers.  
  • Be able to program manage strategic initiatives that delivers end-to-end HR processes. Oversee comprehensive documentation, data analysis, reporting, and presentations to align cross-functional stakeholders.
