Job Description

The Cross Unit Solutions Consultant III at Google gTech's Users and Products (gUP) team leads organization-wide initiatives and cross-team projects within Knowledge, Information, and Core (KIC). Responsibilities include creating project plans, executing projects, recruiting subject matter experts, working with executive stakeholders, and driving measurable results. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills to advocate for KIC initiatives and influence gUP projects. The consultant will assess, collate, and drive projects to break down silos and create standards within KIC, ensuring alignment between business, culture, and people. This position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in project/program management, consulting, or client-facing roles.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a project/program management, consulting, or client facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience developing and implementing programs and processes.
  • Experience with project and program management with a ability to identify, develop, manage and scale complex projects and drive adoption across an organization while ensuring alignment between business, culture and people.
  • Knowledge of thought leadership in tactical projects that have had an impact on business operations across international markets.
  • Ability to identify and manage complex projects and drive adoption across an organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to take complex, aspiring topics and create compelling narratives for different audiences.
  • Excellent business acumen, tactical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

As a Solutions Consultant/Program Manager in the cross unit team in Knowledge, Information and Core (KIC), you will lead, execute and contribute to organization wide initiatives, KIC specific tactical projects and cross-team projects to drive organization efficiency and impact for KIC and gUP. You will advocate KIC to influence initiatives and activate these in the KIC team. You will work with stakeholder teams within the organization and ensure initiatives drive measurable results and impact in KIC and beyond. You will assess, collate, and drive projects around the KIC team that need to break through silos and create standards in KIC.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $162,000-$243,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Create project plans, execute projects and recruitment of subject matter experts in the field.
  • Activate projects from different levels of the organization within KIC.
  • Create measurable outcomes for project success measurement and report on them.
  • Work with executive stakeholders to secure buy-in, give progress updates, and sign-off for projects scope.
  • Create cross-KIC points to support executive decision making and influence gTech Users and Products (gUP) projects.
