Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program or technical project management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or related fields.
- Experience with the Water Benefit Accounting methodology and indicators.
- Experience with data-driven assessment of water supply risk and watershed health.
- Experience in a cross-functional role at the interface of commercial and engineering teams, with a record of driving results and execution in multi-stakeholder environments and complex systems.
- Understanding of water-based cooling technologies and the data center environment.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Manage the assessment, reporting and tracking of water risk and related metrics on a global scale to ensure a responsible and resilient water supply chain during new site selection and facility operations.
- Source the projects that provide water benefit and improve watershed health, directing external partners and coordinating internally.
- Support the development of assets elevating Google’s impact on local watersheds via investment in replenishment and infrastructure projects.
- Implement programmatic improvements, such as tracking of replenishment progress, maintaining and enhancing dashboards to report key performance indicators, and streamlining the contracting process.
