Job Description

The Full Stack Marketer will be responsible for the marketing strategy of v0, an AI-native code generation product. This involves developing core messaging, planning campaigns, running growth experiments, collaborating with product and design teams, and creating content. The role requires a deep understanding of performance marketing, data analysis, and exceptional communication skills. The candidate will drive signups, usage, and retention and work on product launches within Vercel. This role offers a unique opportunity to own marketing for a flagship AI product, from awareness to activation. They will also be responsible for measuring success metrics and making data-driven decisions to optimize efforts. They'll also partner with the broader Vercel GTM org to enable v0’s growth within the Vercel customer base.

About the Role:

v0 is our AI-native code generation product — giving developers and non-developers alike a new way to create frontends by generating high-quality code from simple prompts. v0 is redefining how modern applications are built, and we’re looking for a Full Stack Marketer to help scale its reach and adoption.

v0 operates as a startup within a startup. You’ll be the full stack marketing lead for v0 — setting strategy, driving execution, and experimenting across the entire funnel. This is a rare opportunity to own messaging, campaigns, community growth, and product launches for a flagship AI product within Vercel.

You’ll be equally comfortable thinking at the brand level and running hands-on experiments to drive activation and usage.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Own the marketing strategy for v0 — from awareness to activation.
  • Develop core messaging and positioning that resonates with developers and founder, Product Managers and designers, and non-technical audiences.
  • Plan and launch campaigns across paid, owned, earned, and community channels.
  • Run growth experiments to drive signups, usage, and retention — continuously testing and iterating.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and developer relations teams to bring new features and updates to market.
  • Tell the v0 story through content, demos, case studies, and community activations.
  • Define and measure success metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize efforts.
  • Partner with the broader Vercel GTM org to enable v0’s growth within the Vercel customer base

 

About You:

  • 8+ of marketing experience, ideally across product marketing, growth, and brand.
  • Strong background in building and marketing technical products (bonus if experience includes AI/ML, developer tools, or design tooling).
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing and SEO — you can execute, not just outsource to agencies and others
  • Proven experience driving self-serve activations
  • Data-driven and experimental — you know how to set KPIs, track performance, and pivot quickly based on insights.
  • Exceptional written communication skills — you can craft messaging that’s crisp, compelling, and clear.
  • Highly creative and comfortable working across mediums — you can generate novel marketing approaches and engaging content
  • You are a builder at heart — comfortable rolling up your sleeves to write a landing page, spin up an email sequence, or set up a growth experiment.

 

Bonus If You:

  • Come from a frontend or platform development background
  • Understand APIs and SDKs in detail

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $200,000-$225,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location, and the total package includes benefits and equity-based compensation.
