Strategy is often at the forefront of PwC’s Deals Advisory related work, with our services spanning the entire deal continuum. From strategy formulation, to deal origination, Commercial due diligence, through to post deal value creation, market expansion and exit.
How will you value-add?
Our aim is to bring top-tier Strategy capabilities together, working across the full range of Strategy engagements, and being at the forefront of Value Creation for our clients. Whilst the origin of our team is in M&A, it is now only one pillar of the holistic strategic support we provide our clients. In summary, our team focuses on three core areas:
Corporate strategy (e.g. business planning, value creation plans, restructuring etc.)
Market entry/growth strategy (e.g. Chinese or Japanese corporates looking to enter SE Asia, or Singaporean businesses looking to expand out)
Commercial due diligence and M&A strategy (directly working with our broader Deals Advisory practice, with a strong focus on Value Creation, pre and post deal)
Our team operates across a broad range of sectors – with particular areas of strength including Healthcare, Education, TMT and Financial Services.
As a Director, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will be expected to support teams to disrupt, improve and evolve ways of working when necessary as well as arrange appropriate assignments and experiences to help people realise their potential and support their long-term aspirations.
About you
The individuals we are looking to join this team, should preferably have the following:
Minimum 8-10 years of top tier strategy consulting experience
Exposure to Deals (i.e. running commercial due diligence exercises with key private equity houses / SWFs)
Asia experience or links to the region
