A good game economy balances player rewards, retention and most importantly, fun! Do you have experience standing up game economies and want to dig deep into AA projects under the guidance of industry legends and a game that aims to push the boundaries of existing immersive sims? Does the idea of modeling different player models, reward schemes and collaborating with game designers sound fun?
We are looking for an Economy Designer who can provide forward-looking design for our PC & Console multiplayer games including post-launch content. Ideally, this will transition into game operations as the audience progresses from small tests to larger betas and into live ops. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to work with other development teams within OSE as well.
Experience running a live game from the ground up - from concept through development including launch and beyond - is essential. This is an ideal role for someone who has extensive live ops and/or free-to-play game design experience who wants to return or migrate to a more Premium + DLC product category, where we have a deep focus on fun and player experience over heavy monetization of content.
Our first game, Thick as Thieves () has recently been announced to the public at The Game Awards with much anticipation. You’ll get to work closely on this and other games that we have in the pipeline.
This is a full-time, remote working role, with competitive compensation and a full suite of benefits available anywhere in the United States. All team members may be asked to occasionally travel for key meetings, as part of their job responsibilities.
