EHS Technician
Job Summary
Job Description
The EHS Technician will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal requirements in EHS matters, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. This role involves managing chemical products and hazardous waste, developing safety assessments and training programs, investigating accidents/incidents, coordinating brigades and CSH, conducting risk identification and monitoring of PPE, controlling requirements for forklifts and drivers, validating equipment used by workers and contractors before any risky work, releasing new areas and machinery, and employing root cause analysis and problem-solving methods. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and teamwork skills, a sense of urgency, and coordination abilities. Proficiency in English (80% preferred) and Microsoft Office is required.
Must have:
- 3-5 years of EHS technician experience
- Knowledge of EHS legal requirements
- Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001
- Control of chemical products and hazardous waste
- Preparation of AR and training in safety
- Investigation of accidents and coordination of Brigades and CSH
- Inspection for risk identification and PPE monitoring
- Control of requirements for forklifts and drivers
- Validate equipment used by workers and contractors
- Releases of areas and new machinery
- Knowledge of root cause investigation and problem-solving methods

Técnico de EHSS
·Ingeniería industrial, Ambiental, carrera afín o trunca
·3 – 5 años de experiencia como técnico de EHS
·Conocimiento en requerimientos legales en materia de EHS
·Conocimiento en ISO 14001, ISO 45001
·Control de Productos Químicos y Residuos Peligrosos
·Elaboración de AR y Entrenamientos en materia de Seguridad
·Investigación de accidentes/incidentes y coordinación de Brigadas y CSH
·Realizar recorridos para la identificación de riesgos y monitoreo de EPP
·Control de requerimientos para Montacargas y choferes
·Validar los equipos a utilizar por parte de trabajadores y contratistas antes de cualquier trabajo de riesgo
·Liberaciones de áreas y maquinaria nuevas
·Conocimiento en métodos de investigación de causa raiz y solución de problemas
Habilidades:
·Facilidad de palabra
·Trabajo en Equipo
·Sentido de urgencia
·Habilidades de coordinación de actividades
·Ingles 80% preferentemente
·Manejo de Microsoft office
·Manejo de Personal
·Auto dirigido
