The Repair Technician performs component level troubleshooting and repair of electronic and electromechanical components
Read and understand drawings, prints and schematics
Proficiently troubleshoot electrical circuits to the component level failures which will include defective ICs (integrated circuits), resistors, transistors, capacitors, etc
Proficiently troubleshoot electrical circuits and mechanisms to the component level failures which will include motors, relays, limit switches, sensors, power supplies, etc
Read and accurately interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring, diagrams, schematics diagrams and drawings
Provide hands-on/on-the-job training to peers, as needed.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by leadership

High school diploma or equivalent is required
1-2 Years Technical experience, including reading/interpreting technical data
Board repair and assembly/disassembly of mechanical components
Familiar with and able to use industry standard test equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, frequency generators, counters and have the ability to learn the proper applications of specialized test equipment
Strong troubleshooting skills with AC/DC circuits
Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Ability to communicate orally and in writing
Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills
Reasoning Abilities: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
