Event Photographer

We’re hiring an Event Photographer for an exciting assignment with a top Heavy Equipment Manufacturer, covering a major industry event in Washington, D.C., from May 14–16.

This is a unique opportunity for a talented photographer to showcase their skills at a high-profile, large-scale public event. You'll be capturing dynamic imagery of cutting-edge construction equipment, live demonstrations, and VIP attendees—including guest speakers and policymakers. The client is seeking someone who can deliver visually compelling content that highlights the energy, engagement, and innovation of the event.

Responsibilities:

• Capture high-quality images of outdoor exhibits, equipment demos, crowds, and key moments throughout the event

• Photograph guest speakers, attendees, and policymakers in both candid and posed settings

• Deliver a variety of shots including wide angles, detail shots, and environmental portraits

• Work closely with the client for pre-event coordination and understand shot requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience photographing large outdoor public events, expos, or trade shows

• Owns and operates professional-grade photography equipment

• Comfortable working in changing weather and lighting conditions

• Able to move efficiently around a large event space and meet fast-paced deadlines

• Strong communication and time-management skills

• Must be available for one full 8-hour day during the event, plus pre-event coordination
