Job Description

This Account Executive role at Google Customer Solutions focuses on mid-market sales within the Greece market. Responsibilities include achieving ambitious quarterly revenue and product growth targets, owning a portfolio of medium and large businesses, understanding growth drivers and identifying opportunities, managing risks, building multi-quarter plans, pitching and consulting with customers, and driving customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of online media, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. They will also be responsible for establishing credibility with executives and serving as a trusted partner to optimize and expand their advertising investment. The role requires fluency in English and Greek and involves approximately 20% travel.
Must have:
  • 5+ years sales/media sales experience
  • Fluency in English and Greek
  • Ability to meet quarterly revenue targets
  • Strategic client success assessment
  • Proactive customer pitching and consulting
Good to have:
  • Experience in Greece, Malta, Cyprus, Bulgaria
  • Strong storytelling and narrative building skills
  • Demonstrated thought leadership in digital marketing

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in sales, media sales, account management, marketing, or consulting.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time as required.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Greek fluently to manage client relationships in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and competitive selling.
  • Experience working towards and exceeding quarterly goals (in business and or product growth).
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Greece, Malta, Cyprus and Bulgaria.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and high executive functioning within the digital marketing space.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly revenue and product growth targets.
  • Own a portfolio of medium and large-size businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers proactively to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Establish credibility with executives and serve as a trusted partner to optimize and expand their advertising investment.
