Job Description

The Analytical Lead role at Google focuses on using data to solve business problems for large clients. Responsibilities include providing strategic consulting in sales, marketing, or product development; developing investigative models and dashboards to identify opportunities; collaborating with sales teams to drive growth; and managing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in media analytics, advertising sales, and marketing measurement, along with strong communication and presentation skills. The role requires translating data into actionable insights to influence client decision-making and optimize the use of Google's products. This position involves working closely with clients, advising them on business performance, and collaborating with internal teams to develop effective marketing strategies.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience with marketing measurement and attribution techniques (e.g., offline measurement, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), attribution) and Google advertising products (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, etc).
  • 5 years of experience in a client-facing role influencing across levels.
  • Experience working closely with clients, advising on marketing/business performance, and influencing decisions together with insights and measurement.
  • Experience performing marketing experiments, return on investment/financial modeling, and statistical analyses.
  • Ability to analyze datasets, identify actionable insights, and communicate findings via presentations or dashboards.

With your communication skills, you will construct thoughtful, inspirational points of view that influence key decision makers while also being able to properly handle objections. You will be a collaborative team player, build trust and motivate change both internally and externally.

We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$174,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Provide support and consulting on client's/partner’s strategy in the areas of sales, marketing or product development, and translate data into answers to business questions or insights to facilitate business decision-making.
  • Develop and own investigative modeling for key client/partner projects, apply or customize investigative tools (e.g., dashboards) and frameworks to identify opportunities, and develop solutions to optimize client/partner business and maximize the use and effectiveness of Google products.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to drive business growth with clients/partners, conduct in-depth analysis and identify business opportunities, and support the development of go-to-market business pitch and marketing collateral.
  • Build and manage relationships with client/partner stakeholders across functions and levels, and own the relationship with the data/investigative stakeholders on the client’s/partner’s side.
