The New Business Account Strategist, Onboarding, plays a crucial role in Google’s Acquisitions organization, managing the onboarding of new advertising customers. This role involves engaging with customers, supporting them in utilizing Google solutions, and developing digital advertising strategies that meet their growth goals. Responsibilities include delivering against customer goals, ensuring seamless customer handovers with New Business Sales and GCS teams, improving customer relationships, providing performance-enhancing suggestions, and promoting Google products. The position requires strong communication skills, a consultative approach to advising advertisers on maximizing ROI, and collaboration with colleagues to achieve business objectives. The Onboarding team is responsible for a significant portion of Google’s advertising business growth globally.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in media account management or the advertising industry.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role working with digital advertising products.

The Onboarding team plays a critical role in Google’s Acquisitions organization and is responsible for a substantial portion of Google’s advertising business growth across the globe.

As a New Business Account Strategist, you will be a critical member of our Onboarding team, managing the onboarding of new advertising customers for Google throughout the region. You will be engaging with customers and supporting them in learning how to utilize Google solutions for their business, while also developing digital advertising solutions that meet their growth goals and business objectives. You will manage the relationship with our acquisitions and business team for customers. You will work with an engaged team and grow/transform the business, while also understanding our advertisers needs and delivering measurable solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $84,000-$120,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Deliver against assigned customer goals, while prioritizing and delivering an outstanding onboarding experience to Google's advertisers.
  • Work with colleagues in New Business Sales (NBS) and Google Customer Solutions (GCS) business to deliver seamless customer handovers and to ensure customer experience.
  • Implement ways to improve our customer relationships. Tailor and share performance-enhancing suggestions and promote other Google products.
  • Communicate with customers through phone and email.
  • Provide advice and help our advertisers get the best return on their advertising investment by working with them in a consultative role.
