Experienced Accountant with German language (m/f)

Job Description & Summary

In our Shared Service Centre (SSC) we are currently seeking an Experienced Accountant with German to join our dynamically growing team. As an Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Work in the PwC SSC is specific and different from work in other departments of our company. It combines the advantages of working in a well established SSC and at the same time in the unique and dynamic environment of the largest consultancy network in the world.

What will be your responsibilities?

- provide administrative and accounting support to clients administered by the SSC

- process incoming invoices and payment documents according to internal procedures and accounting principles and legislation

- coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities

- control, verify and prepare invoices for final processing

- prepare payment orders 

- participation on standardization and efficiency projects

- ensure timely and accurate month-end closing and financial reporting

- communicate with English and German speaking clients in order to resolve routine queries and problems

Personality requirements and skills

- at least 2 years of experience in a similar position

- fluent German language spoken and written (B2)

- English language at least B1

- experience with SAP S/4 and Coupa is an advantage

- sense of detail and precision required

- strong organizational & technical skills with a desire to seek new learning opportunities 

- ability to think and plan ahead, be flexible, to cope with tight deadlines, to quickly shift gears in a dynamic environment

- ability to work as part of a team, whether with your colleagues or the practice with the ability to share and collaborate, creating a positive team spirit

Salary (gross) - starting from 1 600 €

Starting date - upon agreement
