The Finance Manager - Corporate FP&A at Hasbro will lead the monthly forecast process across business segments, ensuring seamless integration. We have an opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our Corporate FP&A team. As a Finance Manager at Hasbro, you have the opportunity to drive significant impact on our business and organization, while learning and developing new skills and experiences to continue expanding your leadership and business sense! The Finance Manager Corporate FP&A will play a pivotal role in guiding our financial forecasting and budgeting processes. They will lead our monthly forecast process, ensuring seamless coordination with business segments, and take charge of the corporate forecast process. They will analyze financial results and forecast submissions, identifying key drivers while assessing segment forecasts to identify risks and opportunities.

 

This is a hybrid role and requires the ability to work on site in our Pawtucket, RI office 2 to 3 days per week.

 

A Day in the Life of a Finance Manager:

  • Lead all aspects of the monthly forecast process across business segments, ensuring seamless integration and strict adherence to the calendar.
  • Analyze results from segment forecasts to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights.
  • Conduct detailed oversight of the month-end close process for corporate accounts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain a reporting cadence with business segments to guarantee all reporting is accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Foster strong communication with teams in Treasury, Investor Relations, Tax, and Controllers group to ensure timely sharing of critical financial data.
  • Be responsible for the forecasting of Balance Sheet (BS) and Cash Flow (CF), analyzing their impact on financial records, and documenting the underlying influences.
  • Build and implement financial models and tools to support critical initiatives and decision-making processes.
  • Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts, encouraging a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business planning and strategic projects.
  • Use sophisticated analytics and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to improve reporting and insights.
  • Implement and optimize financial software and ERP systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Apply process automation to automate data extraction and financial analysis, staying updated with the latest industry trends and technological advancements to continuously improve financial processes.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
  • Strong business sense and proven track record of leading and optimally driving results with financial analysis, data and insights.
  • Strong background in finance or accounting with proven experience in management roles.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, learning agility and intellectual curiosity.
  • Experience with corporate finance processes is required.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is required.
  • Experience partnering multi-functionally in a consumer/customer focused organization with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Successful track record in implementing and running automation tools and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation and its impact on financial processes.
  • Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus but not essential.

 

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

  • Starting Pay Range:  $112,200
  • Pay Range End: $168,300
