About The Role
In this role, you will lead problem-solving processes and strategy design with focus on improving demand and growth metrics for GoFood. With focus on growing GoFood PAS demand, you’ll scout the growth opportunities, recommend the marketing / campaign strategies, and track key growth metrics. In short, you’ll wake up every day and think of new ways to create values with our newly-different affordable mode for the country’s beloved food-delivery service, how cool is that!

What You Will Do

    • Discover GoFood PAS (our newest affordable offering!) growth opportunities from the flywheel between Gofood’s users and its partners through all of the metrics by running data analysis from Gojek’s vast database
    • Own an end-to-end process from synthesizing hypotheses, operating A/B test, formulating the incentives / campaign strategy recommendaton and preparing the key metrics report to wider stakeholders
    • Be a thought partner for project stakeholders to find the root insights of a problem or opportunities
    • Collaborate with Business, Product, Marketing, Region, Research and Intelligence team to understand about users’ pain points, define and implement the solution  
    • Conduct competitive benchmarking and analysis with local and international counterparts

What This Role Needs

    • To start, for those with BI / biz analytics background but keen to become a business decider, you are the one!
    • BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Economics, Statistics, Business Analytics or equivalent experience
    • 2+ years of experience within one or more of the following fields: Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Strategy and Planning, Growth
    • Hypothesis-driven thinking process and comfortable with manipulating large amounts of raw data  
    • Able to uncover the narrative and relationship behind the numbers and communicate the insights to a wider audience
    • Strong knowledge of SQL/Bigquery and A/B test concept is highly desirable and basic understanding of analytic and database tools common within a marketing organization (e.g.,, Tableau, etc.)
    • A proactive and team-player attitude with general project management skills to manage projects and effectively collaborate with stakeholders

About The Team
Our GoFood’s Food Affordable business team consists of 7 founding members based in Jakarta. The team plays a crucial role in scaling the company’s new affordable service in our Gojek ecosystem. On a day-to-day basis, we try to empathize with our unique untapped segment’s pain points, then design and implement freshly new, yet impactful and scalable business solutions to have them onboard with our service. 
Food Affordable Growth pod is the think-tank of GoFood PAS demand growth. We combine insights and creativity, either to formulate long-term campaigns or short-term tactics. Thus, our main responsibility is to constantly ensure that GoFood maintains its position as a market leader in a sustainable manner. How does one achieve this, you may ask? By becoming strategic, data-driven, yet pragmatic in everything that we do. 
Along with a common drive to use technology to better our community, given the nature of our department, our team bonds over our shared love for good food and the best spots to eat in town. We’re the literal embodiment of Foodies (who can blame us when we work for one of the largest food delivery platforms in Asia!).
