RENNSPORT is forming a new team to develop tech and content for their ambitious sim-racing project. They are seeking Gameplay Programmers to contribute to their proprietary IP. Using UE5, you will create and enhance existing and new game features. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in gameplay programming, strong C/C++ skills, and a deep understanding of software architecture, user experience, and game engine workings. A collaborative spirit and familiarity with Unreal Engine 4 and 5 are highly valued.
Must have:
  • Proven track record as a Gameplay programmer
  • Good knowledge of C/C++
  • Software architectural skills
  • Understanding of user experience

  • Knowledge of game engine design, implementation
  • Understanding of computer science fundamentals & mathematics
  • Strong collaboration skills

Introduction

We are forming a new team focused on building the tech and content for our ambitious sim-racing project. The project is our own proprietary IP and we are looking for Gameplay Programmers who share our values and passion for creating the best games possible. Responsibilities
We are working with UE5, which is a feature-rich and established engine. Your task would be to create and improve new and existing game features.
Your profile
  • Proven track record as a Gameplay programmer or similar on a shipped game.

  • Good knowledge of C/C++ and software architectural skills.

  • A good understanding of the value of a great user experience and have excellent attention to detail.

  • A good understanding of how to design, implement, and work in a feature-rich game engine.

  • A good understanding of computer science fundamentals and mathematics.

  • A true collaborative spirit - who ensures smooth and efficient communication between disciplines.

What could make you stand out more?

  • Experience working with Unreal Engine 4 and 5.

  • Passion for motorsport and sim-racing.

  • Deep understanding of concurrency and how to optimize it, both on the CPU and GPU.

  • Knowledgeable of how modern rendering pipelines and techniques work.
