Job Description

The Google Cloud Small/Medium Businesses (SMB) team focuses on working with small and medium-sized businesses, startups, and digital native customers. As a Google Workspace Account Manager, you will help develop the business, introduce Google's portfolio to SMB companies globally, and manage customer and stakeholder relationships. Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of Google Cloud customers to maintain and grow their business, collaborating with business partners to generate opportunities, identifying opportunities to promote other Google products, sharing customer feedback to improve the overall experience, and working with small and medium-sized businesses to adopt Google Workspace solutions. The role requires fluent English communication and experience in business development, client relationship building, and cloud-based technology.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years experience in business, client relationships, or account management
  • Cloud (SaaS/PaaS) experience in a global environment
  • Fluent English communication
  • Manage Google Cloud customer portfolio
  • Work with business partners to generate opportunities
Good to have:
  • Experience promoting Google Workspace in Australia/New Zealand
  • Email campaign execution and CRM tool experience
  • Experience working with resellers
  • Translating analysis into business plans
  • Cloud/SaaS experience with SMB/Mid-Market customers
  • Managing multiple tasks with shifting priorities

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in business, building client relationships, or account management.
  • Experience in business or consulting with Cloud based technologies (e.g., Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS)) in a global environment.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in promoting Google Workspace or productivity tools in Australia and New Zealand market.
  • Experience in executing email campaigns and using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
  • Experience in promoting with and through resellers.
  • Experience in translating analysis and insights into business plans.
  • Experience in Cloud/SaaS promoting to SMB and Mid-Market customers.
  • Experience in managing multiple tasks with shifting priorities and varying deadlines.

  • Manage a portfolio of Google Cloud customers to maintain and grow their existing business.
  • Work with business partners to generate business opportunities within their customer base.
  • Identify opportunities to advocate for other parts of the Google product and services portfolio.
  • Share customer feedback with Product and Marketing to improve the overall customer experience.
