Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North is seeking a Graphic Designer responsible for creating visually appealing content to enhance the property's brand image and promote its services. This role involves designing marketing materials, digital content, and other visual assets to support the hotel's marketing and promotional activities. The designer will create engaging designs for various marketing materials, work with the marketing team, design content for digital platforms, capture and edit photos, ensure brand consistency, prepare files for print, maintain a visual asset library, and stay updated with design trends.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or Visual Arts
  • 2-3 years of graphic design experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong creative skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
Good to have:
  • Experience in hospitality or tourism industry
  • Knowledge of Sketch or Figma
  • Proficiency in photography and photo editing
  • Understanding of hospitality industry strategies

Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North comprises a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort boasts panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Waterpark attraction. The Rig 1938 is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.

Job Description

Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually appealing content that enhances the property's brand image and promotes its services. This role involves designing marketing materials, digital content, and other visual assets to support the hotel's marketing and promotional activities.

  • Create engaging designs for brochures, flyers, posters, banners, social media graphics, and other marketing materials that align with the property's branding and marketing goals.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to understand project requirements, target audience, and objectives to produce effective design solutions.
  • Create visually appealing content for the property's website, email campaigns, and social media platforms.
  • Capture high-quality images of the property's facilities, events, and amenities; edit and retouch photos to ensure they meet the standards.
  • Ensure all design work adheres to the brand guidelines and maintains a consistent look and feel across all platforms.
  • Prepare design files for print production, ensuring high-quality output and liaising with print vendors as needed.
  • Regularly update and maintain a library of visual assets, including photos, icons, and templates.
  • Keep up-to-date with design trends, tools, and technologies to incorporate fresh and innovative ideas into the visual content.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of graphic design experience, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), as well as knowledge of other design tools such as Sketch or Figma.
  • Strong creative skills with the ability to develop unique and compelling visual concepts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present ideas and designs.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in photography and photo editing is a plus.
  • Understanding of the hospitality industry strategies is preferred.
