Job Description

As a Growth Lead at Dapper Labs, you will be instrumental in driving user acquisition, engagement, and retention for CryptoKitties and its related ecosystem, including the latest idle game CryptoKitties: ALL THE ZEN!. Your role involves designing and executing growth strategies, including experiments, campaigns, and community-building initiatives. You will analyze data, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve key performance indicators. The role demands strong data analysis, creative thinking, and a deep understanding of web3 marketing and consumer behavior. You will work in a fast-paced environment, deploying to a global audience and contributing to the evolution of blockchain and entertainment experiences.

Job Details

Join us at Dapper Labs, where we focus on the intersection of blockchain and gaming. Our flagship projects, including CryptoKitties, Disney Pinnacle, NBA Top Shot, and NFL All Day, are blockchain-based digital collectibles platforms that leverage sophisticated technology. You will play a pivotal role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, continually deploying to an enthusiastic and global audience, helping to pioneer new territories in blockchain and entertainment. Turn CryptoKitties, its latest idle game CryptoKitties: ALL THE ZEN!, Meowcoins, and upcoming ecosystem experiences into must-play, must-collect habits. You’ll fuse growth experiments, data modeling, and bold creative through campaigns, launches, airdrops, quests, referrals, on-chain rewards, to keep fans coming back daily and bringing many more.

What you’ll do:

    • Model → test → scale. Build LTV, CAC, payback dashboards; run experiments; double-down or kill fast.
    • Experiment boldly and introduce growth hacks. Spin up gamified loops—airdrops, staking rewards, quests—that drive acquisition and retention.
    • Full-funnel campaigns. Run SEO, paid, lifecycle, socials, email, and web3 channels with strong user acquisition, K-factor, and retention targets.
    • Smart segmentation. Tailor hooks for collectors, idle-game grinders, defi natives, and the next niche you uncover.
    • Community flywheels. Turn events, UGC, and influence collabs into self-propelling advocacy and growth loops.
    • Content pipeline. Brief creators, ship on-brand assets, fuel every touchpoint.
    • Risk radar. Pre-set kill metrics, spot exploits early, keep momentum while building two-way doors.
    • Market pulse. Track trends, rivals, and player needs; feed insights back to the product.

You’ll thrive here if you have:

    • Strong experience launching engaging consumer initiatives (games, interactive apps, collectibles, web3 consumer products).
    • Data chops and funnel fluency. Retention curves, cohort math, growth loops are second nature. You can use a variety of tools expertly to pull your own answers and, most importantly, ask the right questions.
    • Deep crypto and web3 marketing know-how. You talk crypto products and onchain growth tactics in your sleep -  you have bought NFTs, tokens and/or cryptocurrencies.
    • Marketing fundamentals, excellent storytelling, creative bias to action. You write the copy, wire the test, and launch by Friday. You have the right mix of strong strategic long term thinking and planning, with stellar rapid execution. You communicate expertly cross-functionally to ensure best-in-class solutions.
    • Creative and lore sensibility. You get how marketing, technology, story telling, business, product and community weave together to build experiences and nurture opportunities. You will collaborate with the cross-functional team to align new and existing directions.
    • Strong ownership and founder mentality. You are passionate about what we’re building. You’re a self-starter, high-energy lead, with a proactive and innovative mindset.
