Job Description

They will create mood boards, presentation decks, and FF&E schedules, and collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients. The candidate must stay updated with global trends in conscious design, wellness architecture, and sustainable innovation, balancing creativity with functionality, budget, and project timelines. They will also conduct site visits and support installation and styling phases.

Must have:

15+ years professional interior design experience in hospitality & residential sectors
Deep knowledge of sustainable materials and design practices
Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
Strong communication and storytelling skills

About the Role:

Flow is seeking a Head of Interior Design with strong foundations in hospitality and residential design and a refined aesthetic sensibility. The ideal candidate will have designed residential, resort, F&B spaces for mindful businesses and communities and have a passion for sustainable, human-centric spaces.

Responsibilities:

Lead design concepts and spatial planning for hotels, resorts, food & beverage venues, and residential projects.
Select materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting with a strong emphasis on sustainability and ethical sourcing.
Create mood boards, presentation decks, and FF&E schedules.
Collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients to realize design intent.
Stay up to date with global trends in conscious design, wellness architecture, and sustainable innovation.
Balance creativity with functionality, budget, and project timelines.
Conduct site visits and support installation and styling phases as needed.

Ideal Background:

15+ years of professional experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio in hospitality and residential sectors.
Deep knowledge of sustainable materials, conscious design practices, and environmental certifications (WELL, LEED, etc.).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools.
Strong communication and storytelling skills—both visual and verbal.
Experience working in high-end or luxury design environments.
Passion for mindful living and design that tells a story.
