POSITION OVERVIEW
As the Human Resources Business Partner based out of our Madrid/Barcelona office, you will support our locations in Spain. You will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders and departments, providing HR guidance, support, and expertise to drive organizational success and change, foster a positive workplace culture, and enhance employee engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand their objectives, challenges, and talent needs, offering HR insights and solutions aligned with business goals.

Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, providing guidance, conflict resolution, and coaching to managers and employees to maintain a positive work environment.

Talent Management: Partner with managers to facilitate talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, and career development initiatives, identifying key talent and addressing skill gaps.

Recruitment & Onboarding: Support recruitment efforts by partnering with hiring managers, contributing to job descriptions, participating in interviews, and facilitating smooth onboarding processes for new hires.

HR Policy Implementation: Implement and communicate HR policies, procedures, and programs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and fostering a culture of fairness and equity.

Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Change Management: Support organizational change initiatives by providing guidance on change management strategies, communication plans, and employee transition support.

Offboarding: conduct offboarding interviews, initiate the exit process and termination.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in HR roles, with at least 2 years as an HR Business Partner, preferably within the VFX, entertainment, or related creative or services industries. Experience supporting both US and Canadian locations is required.

Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations, able to align HR strategies with business objectives and translate organizational needs into actionable HR initiatives.

Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex HR issues, offer creative solutions, and make data-informed decisions to drive positive outcomes.

Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying HR concepts and initiatives to varied audiences.

Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or related fields. Relevant HR certifications are a plus.
