Your Role

We’re looking for an Implementation Consultant to help enhance our training efforts across our suite of products. We need someone who’s passionate about our customers getting the most out of their subscriptions.

You’ll be focused on our key professional customers across Japan and South Korea, acting as a subject matter expert who will help to level up users via Hudl Academies.

In this position, you’ll:

  • Be a strong communicator. You’ll constantly push for alignment between the Sales team and customers on both short and long term goals.
  • Train customers. You’ll take the initiative to understand a customer’s workflows and make sure they’re set up for success with our products.
  • Be the voice of the customers. You’ll understand the needs of our elite customers, provide product feedback directly to our team, and work closely with customers to exceed their expectations.
  • Collaborate. You’ll work closely with Support, Sales and Education in order to surface customer insights and execute on the strategy for customer training and onboarding.

For this role, we're currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our office in Tokyo. But with our flexible work policy, there aren't any current requirements for the number of days you come to the office.

Must-Haves

  • Multilingual. You are fluent in Japanese, Korean and English.
  • Hudl Sportscode experience. You understand the ins and outs of this software, making it easy to train our customers and help them get the most out of their subscriptions. You’re motivated to learn more about our product suite.
  • Flexibility. You’re able to adapt and adjust to our evolving strategies.
  • Driven. Your to-do list is no match for your tireless work ethic.
  • Team-focused. You’re willing to do whatever it takes to see your team succeed, whether it be assisting with front-line volume, helping with department initiatives, or collaborating internally.
  • A problem-solver. Your eye for details helps you identify, analyze and solve challenging problems.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Product development. You’ve influenced or supported product development in SaaS for sports before.
  • Customer-facing experience. You have experience working closely with customers, including training and educating them.

Our Role

  • Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time above any required statutory leave, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
  • Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
  • Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
  • Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech you need to do your best work.
  • Support your wellbeing. Depending on location, we offer medical and retirement benefits for employees—but no matter where you’re located, we have resources like our Employee Assistance Program and employee resource groups to support your mental health.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is displayed below—starting salaries will typically fall near the middle of this range.

We make compensation decisions based on an individual's experience, skills and education in line with our internal pay equity practices.

Base Salary Range

¥5,175,000 - ¥8,625,000 JPY

Inclusion at Hudl

Hudl is an equal opportunity employer. Through our actions, behaviors and attitude, we’ll create an environment where everyone, no matter their differences, feels like they belong.

We offer resources to ensure our employees feel safe bringing their authentic selves to work, including employee resource groups and communities. But we recognize there’s ongoing work to be done, which is why we track our efforts and commitments in annual inclusion reports

We also know imposter syndrome is real and the confidence gap can get in the way of meeting spectacular candidates. Please don’t hesitate to apply—we’d love to hear from you.
