Job Description

The Inbound Sales Representative will answer and qualify customer/client pre-sale inquiries regarding Motorola solutions, products, or services, and build and manage a lead development pipeline. Responsibilities include qualifying sales leads, generating prospective customers through cold calling, building strong customer relationships, and providing customers with information on respective business processes and procedures. The representative must also demonstrate active listening and consultative selling skills while promoting additional products and services. Multi-tasking and utilizing internal business tools are also required to resolve customer issues effectively. The role also involves mailing marketing/sales literature and acting as a single point of contact.

Job Description

  • Fundamental job responsibilities required of all incumbents-answer and qualify customer/client pre-sale inquiries concerning Motorola solutions, products, or services.- build and manage lead development pipeline

  • Qualify all sales leads based upon lead qualification criteria definitions

  • Generates prospective customers through cold calling and qualifies leads

  • Tactfully and courteously interface with customers in order to build strong business relationships

  • Mails marketing/sales literature to prospective clients, keeps up-to-date

  • Act as single point of contact

Additional Knowledge/Skills: 

  • Proactively utilize strong problem-solving skills in order to deliver customer-focused solutions

  • Educate customers on respective business processes and procedures- proactively continue to understand products & solutions

  • Demonstrate active listening and consultative selling skills when promoting additional products and services

  • Display strong verbal communication skills through daily customer interaction

  • Exercise multi-tasking skills when managing multiple systems and applications during customer interaction

  • Utilize internal business tools and applications to effectively qualify and resolve the customer’s issues. This involves multi-tasking between systems while interacting with the customer

Target Base Salary Range: $30,400 - $59,100 USD
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
