Job Description

As the Inside Sales Director, you will build, lead, and scale a high-performance team of Inside Sales Representatives. You will be responsible for driving pipeline growth and accelerating sales performance from the Austin-based office. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives on growth, coaching, and execution. The candidate will recruit, onboard, and manage a team of Inside Sales Representatives, define and optimize sales processes, and partner with other leaders to drive aligned regional strategies. The director will also coach the team on messaging, discovery, and pipeline best practices and achieve pipeline creation targets.
Must have:
  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Proven track record of scaling high-performing teams
  • Experience operating in a territory-based model
  • Excellent coaching and communication skills
  • Expertise in Salesforce and sales engagement platforms
Good to have:
  • Background in SD-WAN, SASE, networking, or enterprise cybersecurity solutions

The Opportunity

As the Inside Sales Director, you will build, lead, and scale a high-performance team of Inside Sales Representatives aligned to six strategic U.S. territories: Southwest, Northwest, Southeast, Northeast, Central North, and Central South. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our go-to-market strategy, driving pipeline growth, and accelerating sales performance from our Austin-based office. This is a high-impact role for a hands-on leader who thrives on growth, coaching, and execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of Inside Sales Representatives based in our Austin office.
  • Define and optimize sales development processes, cadences, KPIs, and territory alignment.
  • Partner closely with Field Sales, Channel, and Marketing leaders to drive aligned regional strategies.
  • Coach and mentor reps on messaging, discovery, qualification, and pipeline building best practices.
  • Drive team performance through data and systems—leveraging Salesforce and tools like Outreach.
  • Achieve and exceed pipeline creation targets across all six U.S. territories.
  • Cultivate a high-energy, performance-driven, and collaborative onsite sales culture.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience, including 3+ years leading Inside Sales or SDR teams—preferably in SaaS, cloud, networking, or security environments.
  • Proven track record of scaling high-performing teams and achieving measurable pipeline results.
  • Experience operating in a territory-based model with strong Field Sales alignment.
  • Excellent coaching, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Strong operational discipline with expertise in Salesforce and sales engagement platforms.
  • A passion for developing talent and fostering a winning onsite team culture.

Great to have

  • Background in SD-WAN, SASE, networking, or enterprise cybersecurity solutions.
  • Experience standing up or scaling inside sales functions in a high-growth environment.
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN, or similar sales methodologies.
