Job Description

This summer internship program aims to provide early career talent with real-world experience in their areas of interest. Interns will gain exposure to the broader business, understanding how different areas operate and collaborate. The role involves assisting with the planning and marketing of community events, working closely with the promotions team, sales, and news to execute events, researching potential partnerships, and supporting the production of the regional community show. The program runs from June 2 to August 8, 2025, with approximately 40 hours a week, at a rate of $18 an hour.
Must have:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Expected graduation of summer 2025 or winter 2025
  • Strong communication, collaborative, and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of formatting, proofreading, basic arithmetic and filming
Good to have:
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred
  • Participation in prior internships, extracurricular activities, community organizations and/or professional associations, preferred
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills, preferred
  • Overall GPA minimum 3.0 or above

The internship program at TelevisaUnivision allows participants to obtain real on the job experiences in their areas of interest and specialty. This experience will expose interns to the broader business and understand how the areas operate and collaborate cross functionally.   • Assist with the planning and marketing of community events
  • Work closely and assist promotions team, sales and news to execute community events Organize, coordinate and monitor community involvement in program/events
  • Research companies and organizations for possible partnerships
  • Support the production of the regional community show - Help create scripts, and other materials for local media
YOU HAVE:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Film or a related field, preferred.
  •  Expected graduation of summer 2025 or winter 2025.
  • Strong communication, collaborative, and presentation skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred.
  • Participation in prior internships, extracurricular activities, community organizations and/or professional associations, preferred.
  • Knowledge of formatting, proofreading, basic arithmetic and filming
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills, preferred.
