As Japanese Translation Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring quality assurance and the production team meets scheduled goals as well as responsible for all Japanese/English – English/Japanese interpretation task in daily basis. Responsibilities include coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors/clients for the flawless execution of projects, working with resource management on resource planning, availability and allocation according to projects pipeline, tracking and analyzing projects' performance, expenditures, procurement and reporting about any possible or current blockers, risks, overflows, deficits, ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope, assisting in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility, collecting management requirements and transforming it into projects pipeline, based on provided scope and requirements translate them into tasks, schedule and assign tasks, working with team on project work to keep the project going according to schedule, communicating to the management changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs, tracking and analyzing project performance, cost performance, schedule and reporting to the management on the change project scope, project schedule, and project costs, being able to suggest the improvements to all the above, reporting and escalating to management as needed, creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, participating in team's performance reviews, performing quality assurance, closing project and documentation, passing project deliverables to operations, interpreting and translating for internal work, translating documentations such as briefs, feedbacks, emails from Japanese/English – English/Japanese in a timely manner, responding, liaising and coordinating to client in Japanese/English on day to day basis (by emails, conference and appointments), cooperating with production team on delivering the feedbacks, documented translation correctly, troubleshooting with Japanese clients and production team, and performing other duties as and when assigned and necessary.
