Role 🎯

Lead Developer for a team of 5 developers (3 back-end PHP, 2 front-end TypeScript). Responsible for technical design, you ensure code quality, mentor the team, and define technological choices. You collaborate closely with Product, Success, and management teams to ensure project success.

Missions and Responsibilities ✅

Technical

• Define the technical strategy and ensure its proper execution.
• Ensure code quality through the implementation of unit tests, continuous integration, refactoring, and validation processes.
• Ensure the performance, security, and budget of delivered functionalities.
• Act as a technical referent and coordinate exchanges with all involved teams.
• Prioritize technical topics between the roadmap, technical debt, and production management.
• Set up and monitor alerts to guarantee reliable production monitoring.
• Evolve the codebase by performing regular technological watch, proposing relevant improvements, and reducing technical debt throughout developments.
• Maintain platform backward compatibility, especially for older browsers.

Management

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and probation period follow-up for team members.
• Provide regular reporting to the CTO on key team indicators (productivity, product health, code quality, costs).
• Support the team (coaching, mentoring, code review, pair-programming).

Skills ⭐

Desired Profile

• 7 years or more in web development (front & back), including at least 2 years in a technical or lead responsibility position.
• Ideally, previous experience on a high-load site.

Hard Skills

• Development: TypeScript, React, PHP (PSR), API Rest, Mysql.
• Infrastructure: AWS (Cloudwatch, RDS, CodePipeline, …), MySQL (index, master-slave).
• Quality & Performance: Tests (unit, integration, E2E), CI/CD, optimization (CPU, cache, async, load balancing, loading time).
• Systems & Web: HTTP, cookies, sessions, debugging, solutions for high-load issues (auto-scaling, SPOF).
• Methodology: SCRUM (daily, sprints, demo, retrospective, backlog refinement, …).
