Job Description

Epic Games seeks an experienced Lead Producer to collaborate with Disney on a new games and entertainment universe. Responsibilities include overseeing development and release of innovative gameplay content, managing project timelines and resources, working with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified gameplay experience, and managing milestone closures. The ideal candidate has experience running large, distributed development teams, working with multi-platform titles, and a strong understanding of light-touch production systems. The role requires excellent communication, project management, and collaboration skills, along with the ability to partner with outsourced and co-development teams and thrive in ambiguous, high-pressure scenarios.
Must have:

What You'll Do

The Walt Disney Company and Epic Games are collaborating on an all-new games and entertainment universe. Epic Games is seeking an experienced Lead Producer to join our dynamic team. We are a new and growing team at Epic, aiming to build innovative new experiences and technology as part of our collaboration with Disney. As a Lead Producer on the team, you will partner with cross discipline teams and leadership on the development of our next generation of exciting games and cutting edge technology. You will be responsible for driving project initiatives for the team. You will be responsible for and oversee the handling and organizing processes so that developers can do what they do best. The ideal candidates are passionate about technology and games.. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that our roadmap works towards achieving our goals and that we are effectively prioritizing the tools and features the team needs.

In this role, you will

  • Oversee the development and release of innovative gameplay content, ensuring it captivates and delights our player base
  • Manage the coordination of project timelines, resources, and deliverables for your teams on the project
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified and compelling gameplay experience that aligns with the collaborative vision of the overall project
  • Manage the closing of your milestones and releases, allowing for agile innovation, but balancing responsible hardening and meeting our standards of excellence and innovation

What we're looking for

  • Experience running a large, distributed development team
  • Experience with multi-platform titles, from development to release and through the live operations phase
  • A good knowledge of light-touch production systems that allow teams to thrive without unnecessary overhead
  • Demonstrated experience in gameplay production leadership, experience and history of mentoring talent to foster growth
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Experience partnering with outsource and co-development teams
  • Ability to build strong partnerships at every level
  • Demonstrated ability and adept at operating within ambiguous situations and high pressure scenario with tight deadlines

Pay Transparency Information

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).
