Job Description

Lead QA Engineer responsible for driving software quality assurance lifecycle, establishing test strategies, supporting team members in creating test plans, developing and executing automated tests, and mentoring the QA team. The role requires expertise in testing mobile or web applications, proficiency in programming languages (C#, TypeScript, JavaScript), and experience with tools like Playwright, Postman, JUnit, Cucumber, Git, Jenkins, and Jira. A strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and excellent attention to detail are crucial. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience and over 5 years of hands-on SDET experience.

Description

We are looking for a seasoned Lead QA Engineer to take charge of our quality assurance initiatives. What you'll be doing?

Driving the software quality assurance lifecycle.
Establishing and coordinating test strategies.
Supporting team members in creating test plans.
Developing and executing automated tests.
Managing and mentoring the QA team.

Your qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Over 5 years of hands-on experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) in a production environment.
Strong multitasking abilities with a proactive approach to project planning and requirements gathering.
Solid English communication skills, particularly in writing.
Expertise in testing mobile or web applications.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
In-depth experience with tools like Playwright and Postman.
Familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit or Cucumber.
Confidence in using Git and working with CI tools like Jenkins and project management tools like JIRA.
Understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases.
Excellent attention to detail and a knack for identifying and resolving complex issues in testing.
Additional plus: experience in leadership roles, knowledge of native mobile testing frameworks, and familiarity with microservices architecture.
