👩‍💻The role

We are looking for a Global Manager, Distribution Partnerships to join our Bengaluru office. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Growth & Strategy, you will be instrumental in driving Headout's growth by expanding our global B2B distribution network.

Your mission will be to develop and manage strategic partnerships with key industry players such as banks & financial institutions, online travel agencies (OTAs), airlines, and travel agency wholesalers. By leveraging these partnerships, you will maximize sales and drive top-line growth while enhancing Headout’s reach and brand presence to consumers around the world.

This role offers a unique opportunity to use your existing networks and build new connections, positioning you as a key face of Headout within the industry. You will be part of a dynamic and growing team with the chance to build projects from the ground up and have a global impact.

🤩What makes this role special?

  • Commercial partnership development. Own your acquisition pipeline to proactively expand the Headout distribution network with new strategic partners. Prioritize your actions based on the impact the qualified leads have on the bottom line and brand awareness.
  • Key account management. Manage and nurture relationships with key partners, build relationships  based on mutual trust. Take the initiative to provide partners with the right tools to skyrocket their performance. 
  • Performance Analysis and Optimization. You'll play a key role in monitoring partner performance and revenue generation. By analyzing data and trends, you'll develop strategic recommendations to enhance partner outcomes and drive additional revenue growth.
  • Collaborative Impact and Brand Building. Work closely with regional teams to drive not only revenue growth but also to amplify our brand presence. By leveraging strategic partnerships, you'll enhance our brand awareness and solidify our positioning within the experiences industry.
  • Contracting. Review and negotiate contracts with strategic partners, aiming to unlock maximum revenue growth and propel our business forward.
  • Budget and revenue management. Collaborate with partners to plan and execute strategic campaigns that drive mutual growth. Set revenue targets and work collaboratively to achieve or surpass them.
  • Collaborate.  You’ll work with a cross-functional team, including engineering, product, design, operations, finance, and marketing to build the distribution business.

🎯What skills & experience do you need?

  • Strategic Sales Expertise. With 4-8 years of experience, you have proven experience in driving sales with a focus on mid-level and enterprise clients. You know what it takes to close a deal and have a history of signing and scaling strategic partnerships that drive growth.
  • Lead Management & Negotiation Expertise. You will be the primary point of contact for all incoming partnership leads, responsible for managing communication, negotiations, and related activities to drive successful collaborations.
  • Market Intelligence. Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing strategies, and customer preferences.
  • CRM & Sales Analytics Proficiency. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
  • You solve problems from first principles. You’re excited to solve problems in innovative ways, and you resist “this is how it’s always been done” thinking.
  • You’re unafraid of ambiguity. Rapid change and learning is exciting to you, and you thrive in ambiguous, startup environments.
  • You're accountable. You want to lead the outcome and positively shape our most important metrics. You have experience leading projects, hitting goals, and succeeding in a team environment.
  • You’re relentless.  You roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to make things successful.
