The Challenge Ahead:
The Manager, FC Franchise Activation (North America) is responsible for the development, execution, and measurement of locally nuanced integrated omni-channel marketing activations for EA SPORTS FC in North America, with a focus on delivering highly culturalized activations that deliver against campaign and business objectives.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, FC Franchise Activation (North America) the main responsibilities for our next Manager will be:
* Develop and execute the EA SPORTS FC marketing campaign in North America.
* Research/insight discovery, market strategy development, activation ideation and development, and budget allocation of all North America marketing activations.
* Manage our external agency partners, contractors, and freelancers. Responsibilities include day-to-day communications, briefing, and activity tracking.
What you will work on:
You will create and execute highly localized approaches for our global campaign moments that resonate with EA SPORTS FC players in the North America market, with an emphasis on the US. This means all the way - from the first creative spark, to sketching out the idea, planning the campaign, leading the development of photo and video shoots, asset creation and overseeing the go-live, and of course analysing performance to optimise the impact by providing recommendations afterwards.
Who you will work with:
You will be part of the North America Activation team, but you will also closely partner with our cross-functional teams in Europe and Latin America, including teams such as Community, Media, Creative, Strategy, Product Management and Athlete Marketing.
What you bring:
* Passion for and expertise of North American soccer culture and EA SPORTS FC.
* 4+ years experience working in a strategic marketing function at a brand or agency. Sports experience is a plus.
* 2+ years experience developing creative marketing activations/campaigns for the world’s leading brands.
* Understanding of North American popular culture, consumer behavior, consumption trends, and engagement opportunities.
* Ability to manage, influence, and collaborate with multiple teams/stakeholders across varying disciplines and time zones to achieve our objectives.
* Ability to uncover and apply compelling data/insights.
* Exceptional verbal, written, and deck-building capabilities.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) * $73,200 - $101,700 CAD
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
