The Manager, Strategic HR Operations - APAC role is crucial within Netflix's Talent Experience Operations (TEO) team. This position focuses on operationalizing global TEO strategies within the APAC region, ensuring effective and efficient performance. Responsibilities include understanding regional business needs, translating global strategies into actionable roadmaps, driving cross-functional collaboration, project management, improving operational excellence through data-driven insights, and co-designing/delivering global TEO solutions. The role also involves enhancing the regional team's utilization of Talent Analytics products and ensuring regional relevance in system implementations.

One of the most critical parts of this evolution is the foundation upon which we can scale personalized and inclusive experiences for the workforce. The Talent Experience Operations (TEO) team is primarily responsible for developing this ecosystem. The broad composition of the team includes Lifecycle operations (all workflows across the candidate, employee, and contingent talent journey), Data and Analytics, Technology strategy, and Global Programs (like Benefits, Mobility, Employee Health, Accessibility, etc.).

The Manager, Strategic HR Operations - APAC role is a key part of the global TEO Effectiveness function and regional TEO team in APAC, enabling the holistic prioritization of work in TEO that drives effective and efficient performance of our operation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Deeply understand the holistic business, organizational, and employee context/needs in APAC, and help shape the Global TEO roadmap for this foundational ecosystem, in conjunction with Talent strategy in the region.  

  • Operationalize the strategy execution in APAC by translating strategy into actionable roadmaps and well-defined priorities for the region in sync with TEO's global strategy.

  • Drive the connective tissue and alignment across our operations, analytics, and technology strategy so that our priorities, delivery, etc., drive progress toward our strategic milestones. 

  • Effective project management through facilitating cross-functional collaboration, connecting central and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations integration, program execution, and sustained alignment of the roadmap with strategic goals.

  • Drive operational excellence through continuous improvements of Ops, Programs, Analytics, Tech) utilizing defined metrics for performance measurement.

  • Co-design and deliver TEO global solutions: serve as an extension of central teams to deliver and maintain a holistic infrastructure roadmap (including processes, tools, and systems)

  • Drive and participate in systems/tools testing, ensuring regional relevance for design, implementation, and adoption. 

  • Establish greater adoption and utilization by the regional team of our Talent Analytics products (understanding metrics, navigation, and utilization of tools), and partner with stakeholders on evolving offerings.

Skills and experience

  • 6+ years of relevant experience, preferably in product management, operations management, or portfolio management 

  • Strong business acumen, systems thinker and effective project manager

  • Adept in operating on a global scale, navigating complex organization structures

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to influence a diverse set of stakeholders (technical and non-technical, varied levels of seniority)

  • Data-driven, with the ability to synthesize them to useful and actionable insights

  • Certifications in Agile, Six Sigma methodologies preferred

  • Experience using Workday HCM, ATS preferred
