ManagerJob Description & Summary
A career within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. You’ll also help organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals.Responsibilities
Tax Compliance - Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax returns, including corporate income tax and other applicable taxes to the tax authorities.
Tax Planning - Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position, minimize tax liabilities, and manage risks.
Advisory - Provide expert advice on tax implications for business transactions, investment structure planning, incentive applications, inbound/outbound investment advisory and new business ventures.
Reporting - Prepare and review tax provision calculations for financial statements and ensure proper accounting for all tax-related items.
Regulatory Monitoring - Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, and assess the impact on the company’s tax position.
Collaboration - Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and business units, to ensure alignment on tax-related matters.
As a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Proactively manage several clients
Train and lead staff
Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and/or professional qualification.
Strong business technical knowledge with at least 5 years' working experience in tax compliance and consultancy, ideally in a professional services organization.
Excellent client handling and team management skills.
People management and project management experience.
A good level of commercial awareness.
Possess good spoken and written skills.
Self-motivated and proactive with contribution to business development efforts as part of securing new clients.
