Job Summary
• This role is responsible for conducting general tasks related to day-to-day production, quality control, and equipment maintenance, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the manufacturing process in a manufacturing facility. The role assists in the manufacturing, assembly, or packaging of products following standard operating procedures. The role operates machinery and equipment following established procedures and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
• Develops an understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g.- assembly, installation) to perform basic operations and general tasks of a transactional nature involving the manufacturing process.
• Follows detailed documentation and instructions to execute basic tasks such as assembling and building product, cabling or installing servers.
• Learns to operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, and follows safety protocols and guidelines.
• Monitors production lines for any issues and report deviations or malfunctions.
• Keeps accurate records of inventory transactions and notifies supervisors of low inventory levels to prevent shortages.
• Documents and reports any product defects or deviations from quality specifications.
• Complies with all regulatory and company policies and procedures.
• Participates in safety training and reporting of safety incidents.
• Provides assistance and support to other team members and supervisors, as needed.
Education & Experience Recommended
• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in manufacturing operations, supply chain, or a related field.
