Job Description

This New Business Account Executive role focuses on acquiring and managing new business within the UK and Ireland markets for Google. Responsibilities include managing the full sales cycle, building a new business pipeline by identifying and initiating relationships with new clients, acquiring business agreements through various sales methods, consulting clients to achieve their online marketing goals using Google's marketing solutions (YouTube, Google Search, Shopping, etc.), and designing marketing strategies for long-term customer success. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and influencing skills, experience in consultative sales and business development within the UKI region, and a deep understanding of online media and Google's advertising solutions.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years UKI advertising/sales experience
  • 2+ years full life-cycle sales experience
  • Fluent English communication
  • Client relationship management
  • Pipeline building and strategic execution
Good to have:
  • Experience managing comprehensive advertising solutions
  • Experience with C-level clients
  • Expert product knowledge of Google's solutions
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in UK and Ireland Markets in advertising, consultative sales, and business development.
  • 2 years of experience in full life-cycle sales.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in UK and Ireland.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing comprehensive advertising solutions for all clients in a fluid environment.
  • Experience in building a pipeline through strategic focus and execution.
  • Experience with C-level clients to achieve business goals and marketing objectives.
  • Ability to design marketing solutions using expert product knowledge to drive long-term success for our customers.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to pitch comprehensive advertising solutions for any client.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the business cycle for the new business acquisition from early stages to closing the customers and managing the relationship for another six months after closure to ensure the customer satisfaction, performance and business opportunities.
  • Build a pipeline of new business by identifying and initiating relationships with new clients, working in partnership with our Sales Development, Onboarding, Agency and Marketing teams.
  • Acquire business agreements through outbound prospecting, consulting, educating, pitching, closing, and relationship management.
  • Consult clients to achieve domestic and export online marketing and business goals utilizing the full suite of Google’s marketing solutions (i.e., YouTube, Google Search and Shopping, etc.).
  • Design marketing strategies using expert product knowledge to drive long-­term success for our customers.
