We are looking for you as a People Business Partner (All genders welcome!) for our dynamic People team as soon as possible in Munich.
As a People Business Partner (All genders welcome!), you offer operational support to stakeholders and assist them with all HR activities.
As a People Business Partner, you enable the implementation of HR strategy through effective and professional advice in the areas of employee relations, organizational design and development, employee engagement, performance management, employer branding, and strategic projects.
The Team
The role reports directly to the People Lead Condé Nast Germany and is part of our local German People Team in Munich, as well as our global People team, which also includes Talent and People Operations.
Your Responsibilities:
- A large part of the People Business Partner role involves providing proactive support, advice, and guidance on all employee-related matters.
- Collaboration with managers on daily HR management, including but not limited to career development and performance management.
- Support throughout the complete employment lifecycle and point of contact for personnel-related questions from both managers and employees.
- Building and strengthening strong and trusting relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Collaboration with the global and European People team.
- Responsibility for defined projects or initiatives as instructed by the People Lead Condé Nast Germany.
- Collaboration with the People Lead and the team to develop HR strategies to achieve our company goals.
- Supporting our local and global leaders in our business units with advice to support the implementation of HR and business measures.
- Creating and building a network with other People Partners to exchange best practices.
- Leading and promoting employee engagement initiatives, including D&I, Mental Health, Engagement, Employer Branding, L&D, etc., to ensure a positive employee experience.
- Reviewing and interpreting HR data, as well as all administrative tasks related to People Management.
What distinguishes you:
- At least 2-3 years of previous experience in a People Business Partner role or similar.
- Sound knowledge of labor law.
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
- An enthusiastic and hands-on attitude.
- Strong ability to build trusting relationships through a professional yet personal approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to self-manage according to team goals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
- Proven ability to prioritize and multitask.
- A natural ability to problem-solve.
- Willingness to get involved and learn.
- Experience in project execution and management.
- Proactive and able to show initiative/ideas to constantly improve our HR service.
