We are seeking a talented and customer-focused Principal Project Manager to expand our Professional Services business in the region. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual with a strong interest in deep observability and security. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, working closely with customers to achieve meaningful outcomes while building trust through technical excellence.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee all aspects of service delivery, including scoping, proposal generation, delivery, and final deliverables.
- Manage engagements to ensure clients’ needs are met professionally and efficiently.
- Collaborate with trusted partners to support seamless service delivery.
- Deliver advisory services that educate clients on visibility and security, solving complex business and security challenges.
- Build and enhance business processes and methodologies.
- Grow the business by engaging with customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Build customer and alliance relationships, positioning Gigamon as a trusted partner.
- Lead and manage a team of Professional Services Engineers.
What You’ve Done:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of experience in network visibility, information security, cybersecurity, incident response, or enterprise risk management.
- 6+ years of experience managing matrix and/or indirect project staff.
- Extensive knowledge in network visibility, cybersecurity operations, emerging security technologies, and evolving threat trends.
- Proven experience managing large-scale projects related to information security, technology risk management, cybersecurity, or cyber-risk management.
- Experience in incident response or threat hunting.
- Demonstrated ability to produce precise, concise, and accurate technical deliverables and business communications.
- Proven track record of working with global, virtual teams and collaborating with a broad range of roles.
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations with various stakeholders and executives.
- Strong understanding of security risks and the ability to implement appropriate security controls.
- Project Management accreditation (PMP, PgMP) or equivalent preferred.
- Any IT Security or Networking certification is a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to speak Portuguese is a plus.
