What You Will Do
As a Data Solutions Analyst, you will play a crucial role in helping Nasdaq build an industry leading Private Markets dataset. You will join the Data Governance team to assist with maintaining data integrity of current datasets and enhance products by expanding data coverage and improving processes. You will also partner with internal stakeholders to provide Private Markets expertise where needed. As our team grows, there will be many opportunities to take on more responsibility, become a subject matter expert, and participate in impactful projects across Nasdaq. What We Expect
We are looking for proof of your passion for data.
We seek an optimistic individual who is detail-oriented, highly analytical, and capable of investigating and interpreting both qualitative and quantitative data. We are interested in hearing about your ability to prioritize tasks effectively and implement appropriate planning and time management strategies to achieve project objectives. Progress towards obtaining a CFA, CAIA, Investment Foundations certification, or an advanced business degree would be considered a significant asset.
Although our team comprises individuals with educational backgrounds in Economics, Accounting, Finance, MIS, CIS, Mathematics, among others, we welcome applicants from all academic disciplines. Experience with SQL, Python, and PowerBI is advantageous. Ideally, candidates should possess 1-3 years of experience in the financial services industry, particularly within the Private Markets sector. However, we are also open to recent graduates who have relevant internship experience.
This position offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 2 days a week in office, subject to change), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
